Before You Come In
Your First Visit
When you enter, our friendly front desk staff will greet you, help you with any additional paperwork, and make a copy of your insurance card. Then our exam tech will take you to an exam room to take your vitals and talk with you about what’s going on with your health.
Next, Dr. Clay will meet with you and do a full neurological and chiropractic examination. This is followed by any necessary orthopedic and range of motion evaluations, and a MyoVision scan—a surface electromyography (sEMG) scan that shows areas of interference—of your spine.
You’ll then watch a three-minute video about the Activator Methods® technique, before Dr. Clay sits down to go over his findings with you. He’ll explain the cause of your symptoms, give you his recommendations for care, and ask if you’re ready to begin care. If you are, we’ll go over our financial policy and then take you to the adjusting area for your first adjustment.

Our procedures are very precise to ensure that we gather all the information we need to make an accurate diagnosis. Dr. Clay uses this information to create a customized care plan to address your specific needs and help you reach your functional goals. We are upfront with our financial policy before you commit to care, so there are never any surprises.
We also take the time to explain everything. Dr. Clay loves educating patients about their innate ability to heal themselves—the power that made the body heals the body. We just remove obstacles that have gotten in the way of that ability.
